Sadly, we need to announce that our annual spring fashion show “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2020 at the Charbonneau Country Club is cancelled. The Board met today virtually to finalize the decision and future plans. The decision is to just do it next year. The planning committeehas agreed to carry on (hooray!) and will kickstart again in January 2021 with details forthcoming then. We are hopeful for the same lineup of models with fashions from J.Jill Bridgeport. We feel our theme will be even more appropriate next year at this time.
For anyone who paid by check for the already cancelled April luncheon and now for the Spring Fashion Show, our treasurer, Lindy Anderson plans to shred those checks by noon on April 20th. If you don’t want your check shredded, please contact her directly to make other arrangements. Lindy can be reached at: andersonlindy@comcast.net
So, net net. We’ll meet again in September 2020 for our fall celebration luncheon. featuring “The KonMari Method” with speaker, Kadra Pixton (a reschedule from this month).
