Dear CWA Members:

Due to COVID we will not be able to hold our meetings and lunches at the clubhouse in the immediate future.  So for now, we will be holding our monthly events virtually.  As a member, you will have access to the event on a computer, tablet, or smart phone.  When it is safe to resume group gatherings we will return to our luncheon format at the clubhouse.  See more about that in the following.

CWA Launches a New Website
Elaine Swyt has graciously created a fabulous website for us to help us more easily get the latest news, register for new or annual membership, RSVP for monthly events, and more. Please check it out at

CWA Invites All Women in September
Join CWA for our September 14th kickoff meeting in a virtual format. Meet the new board and enjoy our featured entertainment, the “Dueling Pianos of Roger and Nancy Wilhite”. Roger and Nancy are a very popular piano duo who have performed for Charbonneau audiences over the past several years. This is a free event for members and non-members.  Details and a link to RSVP is available now online at We will also send out our usual notification 2 weeks ahead of the event. You must RSVP to participate.

If you are unfamiliar with Zoom or need any clarification, please first read the details on our website or email us at  You may also call Elaine Swyt at 503-329-7334

Membership Dues & Signup
Annual dues are normally $30.00, but since we are not holding the luncheons live, we have dropped the dues to $20.00 to simply cover the cost of speakers.

If you are not yet a member, please complete a membership application form on our new website, download or pick up an application available in the clubhouse coatroom. Place the application in an envelope addressed to Lindy Anderson along with $20 dues for the year (covers August 2020 through June 2021). Deposit the sealed envelope in the CCC Drop Box just outside the entrance or mail it directly to Lindy Anderson, 7005 SW Country View Court, West, Wilsonville, OR 97070.

Upcoming Programs
Our program chairs are busily working on getting interesting, entertaining, and educational presentations lined up for the following months. Events from October-May will be available for members only.  Dates and speakers may be found on our website at and in The Charbonneau Villager monthly newspaper. Questions can be emailed to

Your CWA board is working together to provide support for our community. Little did we know that we would all have to get more comfortable with using computers, tablets, and smart phones to stay in touch! It is a challenge for all of us to stay connected and deal with the loss of so much social contact. For now, know that CWA is here for you and at this time, this is the way we can be together.

We hope to see you soon.
