Unfortunately, recently the CWA has experienced a break in and theft.  The box in the coatroom where members put their payments for luncheons or membership was broken into.  This occurred late Monday,  September 12th. Anyone who made a payment between Monday afternoon and yesterday, Wednesday September 14th at 2:00 PM, via check should consider it stolen and should contact your bank to take steps to protect yourself.  If a cash payment was made, CWA has no record you paid.
For now, until further notice, please put any payments in an envelope addressed to CWA or note it on the memo line of the check. Put the payment in the slot by the office door (same building).  The slot is  marked with a big pink sign that says CWA Checks.  The door is always locked unless Rick is there.  Your checks will be secure.
Please watch for future email notices for possible changes to the process.   We are truly sorry that this happened.
The CCC is regretful for this situation and this breach of security.  Thankyou.
