The sign up book is open in the Activity Center closet for our November 10 luncheon. The buffet lunch will be catered by Chef Mitche of G Gourmet and Jennifer Boss of Decoratiing Den will be our guest speaker. She will talk about “Color Trends and Design Styles”. Even if you are not planning on redecorating, little changes and touches can make a difference and give your home a lift. It is fun to think of all of the decorating styles that we have all had over the years! This would be a nice time to share memories (and some laughs) with the other ladies as we enjoy a glass of wine and lunch. The menu features shrimp scampi, but don’t let a shellfish allergy or seafood aversion keep you from attending. Chef Mitche will accommodate our needs. Be sure to let us know ahead of time and make a note in the sign up book. The event will be held at 11:30 in the Dining Room of the Clubhouse. The cost is $32/members and $37/non-members. Checks or cash should be clearly marked and placed in the CWA lockbox on the wall near the door inside the closet. The deadline for sign ups is Tuesday, November 4th at noon.
At this luncheon will will begin takeing reservations for our December 10th Holiday Brunch. For this event you may reserve a table of 8. Forms will be available, so start making plans with your friends and relatives as guests are most welcome. You do not need to be part of a reserved table to attend. Many of our members come as individuals or in small groups. There will be seats for all and someone to help you find one. We will present a music program as well as an abundant buffet that day. The cost is $40 for members and $45 for guests. It will be a fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season. This year it is especially important to make plans early because the deadline falls on the Tuesday right after Thanksgiving, December 2nd.
