The sign up deadline is fast approaching. Reservations and checks must be in by this coming Thursday, January 4 at noon. Because New Year’s Day is on a Monday this year the second Monday (our regular luncheon day) is sooner than you think! So be sure to get your reservation in on time. The sign up book is in the Activity Center closet. You may hand your check in at the desk, or place it in the slot right outside the Activity Center doors.
The January 8 luincheon and program will be held in the Clubhouse at 11:30 a.m. We will be enjoying a casual buffet with sandwiches, pasta and green salads, fruit and dessert catered by The Market Cafe. The cost is $32/members and $37/non-members. In this cold dark time of year it will be nice to gather with our fellow Charbonneau friends and share a little visitiing time together. Perhaps you will meet someone new!
Bauman’s Nursery staff will be coming to present a program on what we can do during the winter and very early spring days to get our planting areas and even our pots ready for spring. There are some times during these months when it is dry and warm enough to spend a little time outside and this program will encourage you to take advantage of those times. Even if you are not much of a gardener, it is nice to think about spring and flowers at this time of year!
