Our April 13th event will feature a program by the Lakewood Theater Company. I know that many of you are aware of Lakewood Theater in Lake Oswego and have attended shows in their main stage theater. There is also a Side Door Theater that presents a 3-show season as well as comedy nights and classes in theater and the arts for adults and children. So, they are an active and important presence in Lake Oswego and to the nearby communities. Steve Knox, the Executive Producer will be coming to speak and tell us about their upcoming production of Funny Girl! Amanda Pred, who will be playing Fanny Brice, will sing several numbers from the show. Ms. Pred was recently seen at Lakewood in Groundhog Day and Nine to Five. She performed at Broadway Rose in Footlooseand Grease. So, we are in for a treat! Mitche from G Gourmet will cater. The planned menu is Asian grilled teriyaki chicken, sides, salad and dessert. Reservations can be submitted in the Activity Center Closet until Noon on Tuesday, April 7. The cost is $32/members & $37/non-members.
