As CWA President I am looking forward to welcoming both new and returning members to our 2025 — 2026 club year. Our first event will be a luncheon on Monday September 8 with Portland author, Phillip Margolin as our speaker. The luncheon flyer and sign-up book will be available in about 1 week. The board has continued to meet and plan over the summer for the coming year and we hope to make it a good one.
Our new membership forms are now available on our website, www.CWACharbonneau.com, and in the front of the membership book in the Activity Center closet. Please take the time to fill out the membership form, even if there are no changes to your information. It is the only way that our membership chairpeople can keep their records correctly. Put your name on the sheet in the book when you place your completed form and check/cash in the CWA lockbox on the wall of the Activity Center closet. The correct lockbox is on the wall on your right as you enter the closet, and it is behind you when you are signing the book. We are doing our best to insure that no one’s form or money is misplaced and we ask you to help us by completing all of the steps.
Dues are $35 with checks payable to CWA or Charbonneau Women’s Association. You must pay your dues in order to attend the September luncheon at the “Member Price”. Non members will pay an additional fee. You may attend one event this coming year as a non-member. After that dues must be paid. Dues offset the cost of the luncheons, as well as covering the expenses of operating the group.
